Dr. Suat Günsel Kyrenia Primary School students experienced the joy of graduation at the Kyrenia University Grand Library Hall.

Dr. Suat Günsel Kyrenia Primary School bid farewell to 2024-2025 Academic Year graduates with a graduation ceremony held at the Kyrania University Grand Library Hall. Families, teachers and school administrators witnessed this meaningful moment at the ceremony where students proudly threw their caps into the air.

Students who worked hard in academic, social and cultural areas throughout the year made significant achievements as a result of their individual and team work. Their devoted studies in the classroom, participation in social responsibility projects and the solidarity they realized were appreciated once again at the ceremony. Students who sang songs and had fun with music had emotional moments as they received their graduation certificates. The excitement and happiness of the ceremony also affected parents and teachers.

The ceremony, which started with a moment of silence and the National Anthem, continued with the handover of the flag. With the handover of the flag, the values ​​and responsibilities of the school were symbolically transferred to the lower classes. This tradition, which created a sense of unity and continuity among the students, represented the transfer of the school culture to the next generations.

Speaking at the graduation ceremony, Dr. Suat Günsel Kyrenia Primary School Principal Canan Gürkan congratulated the students for their achievements in her speech. Gürkan, who experienced emotional moments in her speech, said, “Today, we are experiencing sadness, pride and happiness together here. I have full faith that you, who will progress in the light of Atatürk’s Principles and Revolutions, will walk on the path of honesty, sharing, love and respect, in addition to academic success. The doors of this family are always open to you.” Gürkan thanked the teachers who guided the students on their educational journey and the parents who always supported this process, and said, “As the Dr. Suat Günsel Kyrenia Primary School family, we wish all our graduating students success in their life journeys and hope that they will always take honesty, love and respect as their guides. May success and happiness be with you on your new journey.”

At the ceremony, group teachers Müjde Aldağ and Kamil Yücelen also expressed their belief and trust in their students. Sharing their feelings by saying, “May your path be clear, your heart be full of love, and your dreams be big,” the teachers wished their students a journey full of hope and success in the future.
